The ceremony was beautiful, with plenty of flowers, and music by a folk guitarist. Justin appeared in front, under an arch of fabric with flowers woven through it. He wore a double-breasted English heritage suit in a green and brown plaid print, along with a cream shirt and thin, dark tie.
The wedding march began, and Alex walked Fiona down the aisle. The two dozen guests took a collective deep breath, Fiona a striking image, her ginger hair complementing an ivory sheath dress in organza and satin. It was almost a period piece, sleeveless, with spaghetti straps, and a brush train that was ruched at the waist.
Fiona smiled at us as she passed, continuing to the front, and stepping up onto the platform under the flowered arch.
Glancing at Sam, I could see that his eyes were wet. I took his hand in mine, and wondered how he’d been at his own son’s wedding. Then, I wondered whether Sam’s younger, gay son, Mark, and his partner, Greg would ever get married.
The ceremony was amazingly brief, and before we knew it, Justin was kissing Fiona, languorously, his hand cupping her bottom. The guitar music started, and the newlyweds walked back up the short aisle.
As the wedding guests walked into the reception area, a four-piece jazz group started playing, and uniformed hotel staff glided through the room with large plates of hors d’0euvres.
We were eventually able to make our way over to Fiona and Justin to congratulate them. Fiona was glowing. Sam exclaimed, ‘That was quite a ceremony: The most humanely short wedding I’ve been to in years.”
He hugged Fiona and shook Justin’s hand, then told us, “Sarah and I wrote most of our own ceremony, but it wasn’t that short. We’d had to put our lines on 3x5” cards … and the stack of cards fell during the ceremony, mixing up the lines.” Then, he chuckled, “Maybe that was a bellwether of how things would go later?”
I chided him, “Sam! You and Sarah had a great marriage, as far as I can tell.”
He smiled, and kissed me, “Well, all marriages – in fact any relationship between two people – goes through its difficult phases.” I didn’t pursue this; it had seemed that my relationship with Sam had gone very smoothly, although admittedly it had only been a year, so far.
Justin gave us a devilish look, “If you thought this first part of our wedding was ‘different’, wait ‘till you experience the second part, at my club!”
I gave Justin an inquisitive look, and he explained, “My family is small, and mostly conservative: I’m the rebel among them. My parents didn’t react well to our ideas of having a nude wedding, or the live tattooing of our vows on our private parts during the ceremony.”
My mouth dropped open, and Sam was cracking up, but Justin continued, “And although the club is a perfect venue for the party, my family didn’t want to have to explain to their friends that our wedding had taken place at a sex club.” Fiona shrugged, and I nodded.
“So we decided to have a small family affair here in town, and invite most of our friends – and my business colleagues – to the club for the real party.” Then, Justin turned a little more serious, and offered, “Some of our guests will be providing the entertainment … but if you guys want to ‘perform’, that can be easily arranged.”
Sam nodded, and I shook my head, but we didn’t have a chance to reply, as more of Justin’s relatives were now congratulating the newlyweds. Sam looked at me questioningly, and smiled. “Don’t get any ideas, Sam. This will already be the first wedding I’ve attended wearing a see-through dress with virtually nothing underneath.”
Sam took an hors d’oeuvre from the passing tray, and gave me his innocent ‘What, me?’ look.
We drifted over to Alex, and congratulated her again. She smiled, “Well, we got through that part pretty easily. It will be interesting to see what Justin has planned for the evening.”
Both Sam and I were a bit surprised that Alex would be coming to the sex club, but perhaps we shouldn’t have been: Alex had demonstrated her openness, and desire to connect with her niece and new nephew, despite her normally socially conservative bearing. Alex suggested that we sit together at the club, as she would know no one else there and, of course, we gladly agreed.
Alex said, “I doubt there will really be much ‘sex’ at the club – I think Justin just wanted to impress his friends, and show off the food and entertainment available at the club, which he raves about. I understand the owner offered to throw the entire party at no cost.”
In less than two hours, the reception was thinning. Cake had been served, although Fiona and Justin didn’t feed each other, as is usually typical. I also realized that Fiona hadn’t thrown a bouquet or her garter at the end.
About a dozen of us boarded a ‘party bus’, which was seen off by Justin’s parents and some straggling relatives and friends. Fiona introduced us to Justin’s younger sister, Jasmine, and several of the bridesmaids and best men, who were close friends.
We and several others had duffel bags, but we wondered what the others would be changing into. I glanced at the sexy gown that Alex wore, but couldn’t imagine that it would be de rigueur at the club; if it was, then Sam and I would certainly be under-dressed!
Justin walked to the back of the bus, and opened a cooler, next to a large box (which we realized, later, held the cake), and pulled out a bottle of Champagne. As he opened it, the cork popped out, and ricocheted around the small bus. The bottle was passed around, and we were all pretty relaxed by the time the bus arrived at the club.
Title: Island Experience
Author: Simone Freier
Genre: Erotic Romance
Beyond 50 Shades … Way Beyond!
ISLAND EXPERIENCE is an intimate exploration of kinks and fetishes by an unlikely couple, with thoughtful and philosophical discussion by the characters, and graphic descriptions of their erotic adventures.
Sam takes Kelly and her friends on a trip to a tropical island, where they not only work on their suntan, but also get tanned a few times as part of their spanking play. The friends are even more adventurous and engage in some wild times together in the beautiful island environment. Sam takes them to some places that aren’t on the usual tourist route, continuing to challenge them – and they return the ‘favor’, providing challenges for Sam, as well. The group is loving and loved, as they are now comfortable with each other in ways that most people have never experienced. What will be next for Sam, Kelly and her friends?
The Experiences series is an epic love story of erotic relationships and sexual desires. Written in a ‘literary realism’ style, the series introduces Sam in the prequel, and the blossoming of his intimate relationship with Kelly as the series progresses. Fantasies and real-world adventures coalesce to mold a unique bond between unlikely lovers. Where needs are mutually satisfied in an open, creative and trusting environment. Where physical and mental boundaries are pushed. Where the concepts of love and sex are never confused, but sometimes confusing. Where openness is required and intimacy is expected. And where fair-is-fair, regarding the punishment of transgressions.
Contemporary erotic romance: Suitable for mature readers, aged 18+ years.
Experiences: Book 7 is 139,000 words, 21 chapters, 466 print pages

This work contains mature content, including graphic sexual descriptions and scenes, and is provided for adults only. The Experiences series contains scenes of psychological and physical submission, discipline, and medical fetish. The characters explore various fetishes, which evolve throughout the series. ALL CHARACTERS IN THE BOOK ARE 21 YEARS OLD OR OLDER, and all activities are consensual.
An adventuress and traveler, Simone is a sensual being who loves to read stories that excite her. She takes exception to authors who promote their works as ‘dirty’, ‘filthy’, or ‘smutty’: She believes that sex is wonderful in all of its incarnations, and doesn’t shy away from graphic descriptions of realistic sexual experiences, no matter how messy. Her writing is mainly in the ‘literary realism’ style – i.e., it is wild (even outrageous) … but could really happen to you! She values openness in relationships, and demonstrates this through her characters.
Prior to becoming an author, Simone was a nurse. One of her pet peeves is reading erotica that gets simple anatomy wrong! She is continually bewildered by women who haven’t explored their own bodies. Another pet peeve is the mostly hung-up Victorian society prevalent in the U.S. and U.K., and she tries to do her part to change that by introducing people to new sexual and sensual experiences through her erotic writing. The activities in Simone’s books are quite realistic, as she has participated in most of these in ‘real life’, as surreal as it may seem.
Simone is currently completing the Experiences series, which will run an estimated 1,000,000 words! That is why she refers to it as an ‘epic’ romance, although each volume is intended to stand on its own, with a ‘happy for now’ ending. Experiences combines literary style and philosophical discussion by the characters with graphic portrayal of sex in all of its kinks and fetishes. You may not like all of the things Simone’s characters do … but neither do they. Their exploration of new experiences will hopefully motivate some readers to explore their own sexuality to a greater extent.
